Falcon 4G version B, our standard Stand-Off detector, was recently tested at Military Research Institute Test Facility Kamenna Chaloupka (VVU Brno) in Czech Republic. Tests were done using real agents: Sarin (GB) and Sulphur Mustard (HD). Testing has confirmed high sensitivity of stand-off detection system Falcon 4G-B.
Chemical stand-off detection from the helicopter
During rainy and fogy day in Slovakia yet another CBRN frontier was conquered in Stand-Off detection. Falcon 4G, mounted on the helicopter underwent trials in both hovering mode as well as flight mode detection. Fighting not just rain but mainly vibrations, aiming, stabilization and undertaking successful detection at the same time from the distances between 240 meters to 2340 meters from the flight path were the main emphasis of the trials.
Chemical Detection on the move with Austrian Army
On 24th of April 2019, SEC Technologies has hosted a military trials together with Austrian Army and its CBRN Unit close to Korneuburg, Austria. The main purpose of the trials was detection on the move as well as static measurement in real conditions. We were very lucky with the weather conditions this time in otherwise very challenging area chosen by military for chemical detection.
Successful Demonstration of Falcon 4G
On 06.10.2016, SEC Technologies has hosted a public demonstration of stand-off detector FALCON 4G-S. The weather conditions were bad (snow, fog). The measurement path was located in realistic conditions of an urban area (other gases present in atmosphere, various objects such as high voltage power lines in proximity).
Observer report about field tests with a FALCON 4G stand-off detector by SEC Technologies
Field testing of the large distance stand-off CB detector FALCON 4G by SEC Technologies in Lipovsky Mikulas (Slovakia) was observed by 2 employees of TNO on 28 and 29 September 2016. Based on the experimental set-up as well as the execution by SEC Technologies TNO observed the tests employing the simulant SF6 (sulfur hexafluoride) and evaluated the results.
SEC Technologies at Eurosatory 2016
JCBRN Defense Center of Excellence
On 1st of June 2016, SEC Technologies. s.r.o. was invited by JCBRN Defense Center of Excellence in Vyskov, Czech Republic, to present results of the latest development efforts. We shared our technical progress of active stand-off detection and also our future vision with CBRN experts from a number of NATO countries. We are looking forward to be back at this vibrant place that is pushing thinking in the CBRN arena.
